From bigeconomics.org to Career Outcomes Guide

Career Outcomes Guide started in 2022 as bigeconomics.org, built by economist and college-education researcher Dr. Vitaliy Novik. Since that launch, hundreds of thousands of students have used our statistics to make more informed, evidence-based choices about their education.

In 2026 we rebuilt the product from the ground up and moved it to careeroutcomes.guide — same underlying research and the same federal earnings data, now with a sharper focus on one job: showing you where a major actually leads before you declare it, not after you graduate.

Dr. Novik's research has been cited by researchers at leading think tanks and universities, including Brookings Institution and Yale University, and our statistics have been featured by Michigan Tech University, BigThink, and Coursera.
